Meet Kaila

A woman practicing yoga and meditating on a rock at the Grand Canyon, with her eyes closed and a peaceful expression, wearing a black tank top and leggings.

Yoga guide and passionate advocate for mindful, accessible movement.

I discovered yoga in high school, and even as life evolved, I always found myself coming back to the practice to learn more, to grow, and to heal. Over time, I realized yoga isn’t just about āsanas (postures) or showing up to a studio. It’s a way of being. A way of breathing, letting go, and coming back to yourself again and again.

What speaks to me most about yoga is how it lives off the mat. Through breathwork, sound healing, intention journaling, and the daily practice of self-awareness, yoga has transformed how I navigate anxiety, cultivate patience, and live with more softness and surrender.

In my classes, I focus on creating a welcoming and safe space for all especially seniors and those new to the practice. Inspired by watching loved ones face physical pain and mobility challenges, I’m passionate about providing support to the body to strengthen balance and mobility, and promote healing. Yoga is truly for every body, and I want people to feel empowered by what’s possible physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

I also love bringing people together through private group flows, sound baths, and breath-centered practices that allow for rest, release, and reconnection. Whether you’re looking to book a private session with friends or bring mindful movement and wellness into your workplace, Sol & Root Yoga is here to support your journey.

Thank you for being here.

Let’s breathe, move, and grow together.
